Jerry Briggs was a friend of Bucky Barnes. He appeared in Captain America #5 (1941).
History[]
Jerry Briggs was a member of the Sentinel of Liberty. Jerry's father forbid Jerry from going to the Sentinel of Liberty meeting because he thought that Captain America was not real. Jerry's father was then given a job by his boss to guard a ruby. One night two robbers attempted to steal the ruby. Captain America and Bucky then rush in and saved the ruby and Jerry's father. He then appologizes to Captain America for not believing in him. Jerry was then allowed to continue going to the Sentinel of Liberty meetings.
